Actas da 10.ª Conferência Internacional EAAE/ARCC, realizada na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa entre 15 e 18 de Junho de 2016. A conferência EAAE/ARCC, organizada bienalmente sob a égide da European Association for Architectural Education e do Architectural Research Centers Consortium, constitui um dos mais importantes fóruns internacionais de investigação em arquitectura, alternando entre a Europa e a América do Norte desde a sua primeira edição em Raleigh (1998).

Subordinada ao tema «Architectural Research Addressing Societal Challenges», a conferência de Lisboa procurou responder aos desafios globais que afectam as cidades contemporâneas. Os artigos encontram-se organizados em cinco secções temáticas distribuídas pelos dois volumes: «Changing Society», «In Transit – Global Migration» e «Renaturalization of the City» no primeiro volume; «Emerging Fields of Architectural Practice» e «Research on Architectural Education» no segundo. O conjunto documenta o estado da investigação arquitectónica internacional num momento de intensas transformações urbanas e sociais.

Proceedings of the 10th EAAE/ARCC International Conference, held at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon between 15 and 18 June 2016. The EAAE/ARCC conference, organised biennially under the auspices of the European Association for Architectural Education and the Architectural Research Centres Consortium, is one of the most important international forums for architectural research, alternating between Europe and North America since its first edition in Raleigh (1998).

Under the theme 'Architectural Research Addressing Societal Challenges,' the Lisbon conference sought to respond to the global challenges affecting contemporary cities. The articles are organised into five thematic sections spread across two volumes: 'Changing Society', 'In Transit – Global Migration' and 'Renaturalisation of the City' in the first volume; 'Emerging Fields of Architectural Practice' and 'Research on Architectural Education' in the second. The collection documents the state of international architectural research at a time of intense urban and social transformation.
