Framed in a decorated wooden sturdy frame, finished in plaster and gold, with small amounts of paint loss.

Very pretty original painting of a landscape scene with rural panorama of the European highlands outback near the Alpine mountains (perhaps a scene of the Bavarian alps, as usual in this kind of oil painting) showing a river with some cattle and a field being harvested.

There is also a small tear to the canvas. It would enhance an antique interior decor.
