Edição bilingue com o texto em italiano e a respectiva tradução em português. Bela e cuidada edição muito rara e importante para o estudo da ópera em Portugal no período do Belcanto. Nome do autor recolhido da bibliografia BNP.

A atestar a grande raridade deste livro está o facto de não ser referido por Inocêncio nem por Gonçalves Rodrigues na obra A tradução em Portugal, Lisboa. 1992.

Libreto da ópera de Gaetano Donizetti cantada no Teatro Real de S. Carlos de Lisboa, em 1825 e que tinha estreado no Teatro Argentina, em Roma, a 28 de Janeiro de 1822. Contém lista das personagens com o nome dos cantores que as interpretaram, que foram os seguintes: José Spech, Luiza Valesi, Luiz Ravaglia, Estevão Valesi, Fabio Maximo Carrara e Luiza Cararra

A very sharp print on very thick linen paper, decorated with the royal coat of arms of king D. João VI at the centre of the title page.

Bilingual edition, with the original Italian text and the translation into Portuguese. A beautiful and well cared edition, important for the study of opera in Portugal during the Belcanto period. The author’s name was collected from the BNP bibliography.

To attest the rarity of this book is the fact that it is not mentioned by Inocêncio or Gonçalves Rodrigues in his work A tradução em Portugal, Lisbon. 1992.
