O frontíspicio da primeira obra está ornamentado com uma cornija ornamental em toda a esquadria, contornada com figuras dos grandes cientistas e matemáticos. O frontispício da segunda obra apresenta decorações florais entrelaçadas com dragões e retratos alegóricos da música, da geometria, da astronomia e da aritmética.

A primeira obra, em segunda edição, apresenta um tratado sobre o astrolábio com algumas modificações relativamente à primeira edição de 1527.

A segunda obra De Mundi Sphaera é dedicada a Henrique II de França e consta de um trabalho de cartografia do autor procurando incluir no conhecimento da época as descobertas de regiões desconhecidas, tais como a América do Sul e a Antártida; dividindo-se esta obra em cinco livros (capítulos) ricamente ilustrados por diagramas ortogonais, desenhos, tabelas e um todo um enorme aparato gráfico e uma gravura de página inteira com o autor a efectuar medições astronómicas com um astrolábio, antes do primeiro fólio numerado.

Illustrated with data tables; geometric designs; one full page engraving depicting the author at the moment of establishing measurements; maps and schemes in orthogonal and perspective (Mercator perspective, including a map of France with major latitudes and longitudes in folio 85); globes and astrolabes.

The first work - Quadrans Astrolabicus, in a second edition - presents a treatise on the astrolabe with a few changes compared to its first edition in 1527. The frontispiece of the first book has a ornamental frame with figures of great scientists and mathematicians.

The second work - De Mundi Sphaera - is dedicated to Henry II of France and consists of an updating mapping of the world, as the author is trying to include the knowledge of the time of the Discoveries of unknown regions, such as South America and Antarctica. The title page of this second book has a typographical frame with floral decorations containing dragons and allegorical portraits of the music, geometry, astronomy and mathematics. This work is divided into five books (chapters) richly illustrated with orthogonal diagrams, drawings, tables, and a superb graphic apparatus.
